This is how I make fluffy white rice as a staple for all of my Asian cooked meals. I have heard too many of my friends tell me about cooking rice… I love them all very dearly but I cannot let them eat unwashed rice. Growing up in an asian house hold means I have always used a rice cooker, and measured how much rice to use by heart. The only measurements you need are your eyes and hands!

- White Rice
- Water
- Rice Cooker

Start by pouring the rice into the container that goes into the rice cooker. The more you pour, the more it will feed.

Fill the container with water and stir it around with your hands in one direction. Drain it and repeat 4-5 times or when the water is mostly clear.

Fill it with water up to one finger joint above the rice and turn it on the cook setting.
